Kershaw 1670S30V Blur Knife with S30V Steel Blade with SpeedSafe Review

Kershaw Blur review – Why Customers Love this Pocket Knife

This Kershaw Blur review will tell you about my experiences using the Kershaw Blur knife with S30V Steel Blade. It is a mid-size “working man’s knife” that I truly love that I ended up using it almost every day. In fact, I find it to be very useful during my camping trips and outdoor excursions.

Also, it is worth mentioning that this knife is actually designed by a famous knife designer named Ken Onion. He is the same man that designed other great looking knives that you will see in the market. But Kershaw Blur is not only good looking. It is very functional as well, which is the kind of knife that an outdoor adventure enthusiast like me will surely love.

Dimensions and Blade Details

Just like with other pocket knives from Kershaw, the Blur actually comes with so many great features. It is made from a S30V stainless steel blade and also comes with the Tanto version and other special editions with colored handles.

The Kershaw Blur is not only an ideal knife for Everyday Carry (EDC), but it can also be used as a great tactical knife. The knife has a 3 3/8-inch long blade, with a 4 ½-inch handle and weighs about 4.2 ounces. It is one of those medium framed pocket knives which you can easily carry with you wherever you may go.

The standard blade features a beautiful hollow ground drop point, although you have an option to upgrade to Tanto blades. This is actually one of the things that I love about the Kershaw knives, and is also one reason why you can easily find a great Kershaw Blur review online.

Handle and Pocket Clip

The first thing that I have noticed about the handle of the Kershaw Blur is the inserts that look like sandpaper. Kershaw actually refers to it as the “Trac Tec”, and is a rubberized material which provides lots of traction without hurting your hands.

The rest of the handle is made of aluminum and features a flow through design. I came across a Blur review online that describes the handle as having a very strong design, which is actually true. Aside from that, I love the fact that the handle is beautifully finished and is very lightweight so you can store it in your pocket with ease.

The pocket clip of the Kershaw Blur was nicely executed as well and is something that also impressed me. Depending on the model that you choose, it features a matte black finish and rides pretty low when placed in your pocket.

If you go online and read a Kershaw Blur feedback, you will see that it actually has so many positive responses and most of the customers are pretty much satisfied with the way the knife works. Well, I can certainly relate with what these customers feel and I can understand why they love the knife so much. I myself love everything about the Blur! Its fit and finish are really superb and the handle and the blade dimensions are just right.
